Trainor Canada moves to Newfoundland & Labrador !

After years’ successful business experience in Norway, Asia and China, Trainor is coming to St.John’s, NL to serve the Offshore & Oil and other energy industry in Newfoundland and Labrador in July 2011.

Trainor is the largest electrical safety training company in Norway, it was funded in 1995 after an amicable employee buyout of the training division of ABB Industries. Since 1994, Trainor has been active in the oil and gas industry in South China Sea. With a solid background in technical, management and safety training, Trainor expanded into management and technical services in 1999. In addition to its E-learning training, Trainor can provide for all of the personal needs as desired by the client in the offshore oil industry. With a solid track record and available resources, Trainor Canada is confident in providing high value technical services to the clients in Atlantic Canada.

1. Senior Drilling Engineer – China
Qualification:
- 20+ years experience of drilling engineering in oil & gas industry;
- Good understanding of logging, DST, downhole tools, well completion and workover;
- Proficiency in using drilling softwares;
- Experienced in international drilling projects;
- Experienced in deep well drilling, HPHT, and H2S wells and so on.
- Highly motivated, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, etc...
- Position open to Chinese nationals

2. Sr. Deepwater Drilling Engineer – China
Qualification:
- Well design work for deepwater leases in China.
- Design work to include casing design, casing point selection, cost estimating, contract technical specifications and contract tenders for deepwater work.
- Consultants will interface with CLIENT'S subsurface team to ensure wells can be drilled considering the known shallow hazards in the area.
- Will determine if wells can be drilled with existing inventory and/ or determine if additional inventory can be ordered within the lease deadline timelines if necessary.
- This work will be done in the Houston,however, business trips to China and South East Asia may be necessary.

3. Contract / Procurement Specialist – China
Qualification:
- 5-10 yrs experience in oil & gas industry;
- The candidate is required to have good exp with service contract, contract management plans, contract strategy development, contract drafting and negotiation;
- Creating procurement procedures;
- Managing the daily procurement issues;
- Preparing the monthly procurement report;
- Sourcing the qualified vendors;
- Good command of English, etc.

4. Piping Engineer – China
Qualification:
- 8+ years working experience in related area with bachelor degree, majoring in chemical engineering and mechanism;
- Be proficient in operating all kinds of office-software and systems;
- Be conscious of team-work;
- Good command of English.
- Position open to Chinese nationals.

5. E&I Engineer – China
Qualification:
- No less than 8 years working experience in related area;
- Educated with bachelor degree, majoring in automation, electronics, wireless, etc.
- Be provided with registered national electrical engineer is preferred;
- Fluent communication in English is necessary.
- Position open to Chinese nationals.

6. Mechanical Engineer – China
Qualification:
- 8+ years experience with college education, majoring in chemical machinery, process equipment & control or related;
- Knowledgeable in mechanic principle, mechanical equipment and fabrication, chemical mechanism, etc. - Good command of English.
- Position open to Chinese nationals.

7. Process Engineer – China
Qualification:
- 5+ years experience with bachelor degree;
- Good command of English;
- Be familiar with principle of process production;
- Be profound of foreign process design criteria, etc.
- Position open to Chinese nationals.

8. HSE Engineer – China
Qualification:
- At least 8+ years' experience in oil & gas industry.
- Be familiar with HSE regulations on the construction site, especially for the fabrication projects such as jacket, topside, FPSO and so on;
- Strong personality with highly developed communication skills and team spirit, etc.

9. Sr. Drilling Engineer – China
Qualification:
- 10 - 15 year Senior Drilling Engineer who is familiar with Western well engineering management systems (development and implementation of), who can work unsupervised on feasibility studies for field development and provide general drilling engineering support on project work as required.
- Requirement is for a Project Engineer who can work under direct supervision on specific tasks.
- Need an Operator trained, 10 – 15 year SDE

10. Regional HSE Manager – Malaysia
Qualification:
- At least 20 years HSE experience in oil & gas industry;
- Has HSE exp with drilling, operation, construction etc.
- Position open to Western expats

11. HSE Supervisor – Malaysia
Qualification:
- At least 10 years HSE experience in oil & gas industry;
- Operational offshore HSE, on site construction (FPSO Module /Topside, etc.) experience are needed;
-Malaysian national is preferred.

12. HSE Supervisor – Niger
Qualification:
- HSE experience in Drilling field.
- Some knowledge of seismic area.
- Language: Some French speaking is needed.

13. Project Services Manager – China
Qualification:
- An experienced (20 years +) Project Services Manager with a solid knowledge of core PSM disciplines of cost, estimating, planning and risk management.
- Previous overseas and SE Asia experience an advantage.
- Knowledge of cost reporting, systems and cost co-ordination on major projects essential.
- Must be good team player and sensitive to working within different cultures and in a multi-national team.
- Demonstrate HSSE leadership to the project team.
